2008 Cattleman’s Spring Break will be held on Tuesday, March 25th and Wednesday, March 26th.

Monday, March 24^th

·         Inspect cattle at the Horton Research Center in Wellington, all day.

·         6:30 pm Cattleman’s Seminar at the sale barn.

Tuesday, March 25^th

·         10:00 am 500 Bulls at auction
Angus, Red Angus, Stabilizer, and Charolais

·         7:00 pm Join us for dinner at the sale
barn followed by Western entertainment. 

·         Wednesday, March 26^th

·         10:00 am 300 females at auction

Sale Location: Horton Research Facility, Wellington, CO

0.5 mile East of I-25 at Exit 281

13 miles north of Fort Collins

3 miles north of Wellington

Official Headquarters: Comfort Inn at Wellington, CO.  Call (970) 568-0444 for the Leachman special rate of $59.95.  They have great rooms, a swimming pool, continental breakfast, an exercise room, and guest laundry.  They are just 3 miles south of our test facility.

Air Travel: Flights may be booked into Cheyenne, WY or

Denver International Airport. DIA is best. Private flights should fly to Ft. Collins/Loveland and call the office at (970) 568-3983 for pickup

Ground Travel: If flying to Denver, special car rental rates are available at Enterprise Car Rental call (303) 342-7350 (DIA) or (970) 224-2592 (FT. Collins). A convenient shuttle service, Shamrock Airport Express, is available from the Denver Airport to Fort Collins.
